Upscale Artifacts began with a single hand-sewn skirt for my doll named Stella, and slowly is growing into what is literally a “small”-batch fashion studio. Our dresses, skirts, tops, leggings, and accessories are designed, sewn, and tested to fit many popular 18 inch doll brands, so you can trust the fit before you buy.
We use quality cottons, flannels, knits, and faux leathers, finished with real closures like snaps and hook-and-loop for an easy, tactile play experience. Each item is cut and sewn by hand in small batches, not mass-produced, so quantities are limited and details vary slightly piece to piece.
Our scarves and accessories are also available in human sizes, some of them cut from the same fabrics as our doll-scale pieces, so you and your 18” doll can be matchy-matchy.
We are an independent small shop and is not affiliated with or endorsed by American Girl®, Mattel®, My Life As®, Our Generation®, or any other doll manufacturer. We simply design our own patterns sized to fit our eighteen inch friends because we know doll collectors have discriminating taste and are looking for stylish, handmade, unique, and even one of a kind items for their special friends.
